“Andava a Terra tão Acesa” is a collection born from a close collaboration between artist Inês Pargana and writer Ondjaki. For each painting, Ondjaki wrote an original, unpublished poem, creating a dialogue between visual narrative and written word. Together, the works form a landscape of intertwined stories — paintings charged with characters, gestures, and possibilities, illuminated by poems that deepen and expand their meaning. This series celebrates the encounter between two creative worlds, where image and poetry spark new ways of seeing.
