This series was created as a tribute to the spirit of the Fábrica do Braço de Prata — a place where movement, thought, music, books and conversation coexist. Each painting highlights one gesture, one human action, transformed into a small scene of everyday poetry.
“Dancing” captures pure movement: only feet in motion, confetti on the floor, spilled wine, and a few quiet cats observing the night. A celebration of rhythm, community and the joyful chaos that lingers long after the music ends.
“Reading” shows a shared moment between generations — a book connecting an older figure and a child, surrounded by shelves that suggest infinite worlds. It reflects the Fábrica as a place of curiosity, learning and imagination.
“Listening” focuses on two pairs of hands: one playing the piano, the other gently resting on its surface. A reminder that music is never solitary — it travels, touches and binds everyone in the room.
“Thinking” invites a moment of contemplation, echoing the Fábrica’s love for philosophy, dialogue and the pleasure of reflecting together.
“Conversing” presents a figure listening intently, hands raised to her ears. She embodies the idea that true conversation begins with attention — with hearing before speaking.
